Bio

Aynur Bashirova is a PhD student from Azerbaijan researching development of Israel's relations with Azerbaijan, 1991-2018, within the context of typology of bilateral relations. She holds Advanced Masters' degree from IES (VUB) on European Integration from which she graduated with a grade of Distinction, and Masters' degree from University of Kent in International Law. She completed her Bachelor's in Vesalius College (VUB) in International Affairs and graduated on Dean's List. She speaks Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, English, and French. 

In 2017, she was a research fellow at Rubin Center (IDC Herzliya), Israel. In 2013, she functioned as a researcher at the Royal Higher Institute for Defense (RHID) in Brussels. She has also been an intern at the European Parliament in 2014 and Council of Europe in 2010. She has publications about South Caucasus and Israel.
